Introducing the Newest Member of our Team

Introducing the Newest Member of our Team

Melleive_Announce

Bedel Security is excited to officially welcome our newest Virtual CISO Specialist, Melleive Marce. She’ll be bringing her passion for cybersecurity to our vCISO consulting services while simultaneously pursuing her Master’s in Cybersecurity Law.

President and CEO, Chris Bedel, had this to say about the new addition:

"I'm really excited to continue to grow our team.  Melleive's love for cybersecurity and natural service attitude make her a great fit at Bedel Security.  We want to provide the best service we can to our clients, and that requires great people.  Melleive is someone that will help us move closer to our vision."
Melleive_HeadshotMelleive’s foundation as an Air Force veteran and officer’s spouse for nearly three decades brings a unique perspective and energy to the Bedel Security team.  Her early experience as a Trauma Surgical Technician gave her a keen understanding for prioritizing under pressure.

Her passion for Cyber Security ignited when she learned her and her husband’s Top-Secret Security Clearance file was compromised in the now infamous OPM breach.  Ever since, her professional focus has been the mitigation of Cyber threats, and the legal implications of organizational compliance.  Melleive is also a Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP) through (ISC)2.

In her free time, Melleive enjoys ballroom dancing and mountain biking near Wright-Patterson AFB, OH. She also enjoys time with her two teenage children, two Rhodesian Ridgebacks, two cats, and even her husband, whom she’s convinced is finally allowed to retire from Active Duty.

Melleive can be reached at mmarce@bedelsecurity.com. All are invited to send their messages of welcome to the newest member of our team!
