The Bedel Security Team is proud to welcome our newest vCISO Specialist, Trisha Durkin. Trisha contributes great insight from all the different areas in community banking that she's worked in. From day one she hit the ground running, ready to tackle anything thrown at her.
When talking about the growing team President and CEO, Chris Bedel had this to say:
“I continue to be humbled by the quality of people that we're adding to our team. Trisha brings a lot of great experience in community banking in the right mix of key areas. She's a natural fit at Bedel Security and I'm excited about what she'll contribute to our mission.”
Trisha spent the first 16 years of her career learning the ins and outs of community banking. During this time, she held positions in Risk Management, Project Management, Information Technology and Information Security. She is also a Certified Community Banking Technology Officer.
Bringing a unique perspective of the complexities community banks face in creating and maintaining effective Information Security and Cybersecurity programs, Trisha is driven to help banks incorporate Information Security into all areas of banking as seamlessly as possible.
Trisha and her husband live in coastal Georgia. She enjoys traveling to new places and listening to live music. In her spare time you can find her watching football, reading or listening to her favorite podcasts.
